There’s always something
I think I’ve finally got a layout I like, I think I’ve finally got a setup that works. But where to begin?
There’s a dozen meaningless ideas that have been bouncing around in here for years, and they stay bouncing around because there’s always something more meaningful that needs to get done. And that list is still longer than my arm, so it’s not like I really have any time for this shit.
But then this is also supposed to be where I live and work online, my portfolio, my presence. And right now it’s really thin, and not really worthy of supporting any kind of “career”. So it’s not like I can afford to let it sit idle either.
Then also there’s the paradox of not being interested in talking to you. Who the hell are you, anyway? Experience teaches that you have assumptiuons and expectations that aren’t worth the time of day. That same experience illustrates your determination to hold me responsible for the nonsense in your head. Now, I’ve got more than enough of that in my own head, so you KNOW I have no time for yours.
But somehow I have enough time to compose this? Just how important can my time really be then?
